THE   THEORY  &  PRACTICAL  DRIVING  TESTS

THE THEORY TEST

Before you can take a practical driving test you are required to pass   a theory / hazard perception test. You can either take this test before you   start your driving lessons, or start your driving lessons and then take the   test when you have had a few lessons – this may help you to understand some of the questions and answers better.

During the hazard perception part of the test you will watch 14 video   clips on the computer and click the mouse when you spot a developing hazard.   There are 15 hazards for you to spot.

The theory test is split into two parts: Questions and Hazard Perception.

The multiple choice question and answer section, where you will answer 50 questions. You will be able to buy various learning aids to help you prepare for this   test.  I will be able to   suggest some material that will help you to prepare for the test.

You will also need to understand and be able to answer two of the show me tell me questions that the examiner will ask you at the start of your driving test, you will be able to learn about these by watching a video on my YouTube channel or by clicking here.  You can also read the top ten reasons for failing the driving test here.
